    High school and college AHEC scholars will have an opportunity to speak one-on-one with health care professionals from diverse disciplines.  During this panel-style discussion, scholars can ask questions on a variety of health career topics on: academic journeys, challenges, rewards, daily responsibilities, and career salaries.     The Summer Science Academy Day Program offers an exciting and engaging hands-on experience for passionate incoming 9th and 10th grade students who are interested in the sciences, biology, health care, medicine, or related STEM fields. The event takes place at the Emory University School of Medicine where students will learn a variety of science-related topics. This is a program designed to disseminate information on health care careers, while offering a heuristic approach to researching careers highlighted in our health careers manual. This is a virtual event held in conjunction with Emory School of Medicine.
