RECRUIT: Health Career Exploration

Our recruitment programs and services include classroom presentations, exposure to healthcare mentors, interactive career activities, and an empowering series of career readiness workshops.
General Health Career Education Promotion
SPCC Atlanta AHEC provides comprehensive information about health career exploration programs, Health Careers Manual, and additional resources designed to support students pursuing careers in healthcare. These interactions allow students and families to learn about pathways into health professions and the steps needed to prepare for academic and career success.
If you would like our Health Careers Coordinator to attend your College Fair, Career Fair, Health Fair, or other community engagement event, send an email with your request to info@spcc-atlantaahec.org or complete our “Career & Community Fair Participation Request Form“
For classroom presentations, reserve a full day through our Outlook booking system. This presentation introduces students to the Health Careers Manual and emphasizes the importance of professional development throughout their academic journey. Students will also learn how to apply for professional development opportunities and how to engage with healthcare professionals.

Partnering Health Career Program
We proudly collaborate with scholastic institutions and professional development programs to provide supplemental health career education that enhances existing career pathway initiatives. Through these partnerships, we support students strengthening their academic preparation, increasing college competitiveness, and gaining meaningful exposure to health professions. SPCC Atlanta AHEC serves as a bridge between students seeking opportunities in healthcare and organizations working to recruit and mentor the next generation of health professionals.
